HYGIENE FOR UNSHELTERED
Good hygiene is vital for health and personal dignity.
Homeless individuals are unable to maintain cleanliness due to lack of access to hygiene products.
The Makana Project provides hygiene supplies to unsheltered homeless individuals to help prevent disease and support overall well-being.
We occasionally distribute directly to people in need. However, most of our donations go to outreach agencies that actively engage and serve people on the streets and beaches. By supplying these organizations with hygiene-related items, they can spend less time sourcing basic supplies and more time focusing on the service-based needs of the homeless.
